Colombia is an explosion of life, where magical realism takes shape amidst towering mountain ranges, lush jungles, remote deserts, and the infectious rhythm of the Caribbean.
Our journey begins in the high altitudes of Bogotá, surrounded by museums and the historic charm of the La Candelaria neighborhood. From the capital, we head to the heart of the Coffee Region in Salento, embraced by mountains, the iconic giant wax palms of the Cocora Valley, and the aroma of coffee. Next is Medellín, a symbol of reinvention, where the colorful graffiti of Comuna 13 tells stories of resilience. From there, we climb the steps of the Piedra del Peñol in Guatapé to take in one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in South America. We leave the mountains behind and embrace the Caribbean in the colonial charm of Cartagena de Indias, losing ourselves in cobblestone streets filled with flower-draped balconies and Afro-Caribbean rhythms. We recharge our batteries in the paradisiacal haven of the Rosario Islands and head to Tayrona National Natural Park, where dense jungle meets golden sand beaches.
For those who want to go even further, the La Guajira Extension takes us to Colombia at its most pure and wild. We culminate the journey with an expedition to reach a place where few have ever been. Alongside the Indigenous Wayuu people, we cross the desert in 4x4s, witness an unforgettable sunset in Cabo de la Vela, and reach Punta Gallinas, the northernmost point of South America, where sand dunes plunge dramatically into the ocean.

Respecting PNNTayrona is part of the experience. To honour the Earth and strengthen ancestral roots, the Tayrona National Natural Park and the Indigenous peoples who inhabit it have agreed to suspend all ecotourism activities within the territory three times a year. These sacred pauses allow for the performance of spiritual, cultural, and environmental ceremonies and practices that are essential for the balance of the ecosystem and community life.
The park closes on the following dates:
Our travel dates are carefully planned in deep respect for this ancestral request. By choosing to travel with us, you are also honouring the rhythms of nature and the sacred times of those who live in and care for this land.
This is how Tayrona becomes more than just a destination: it becomes an opportunity for conscious connection with a truly unique place.
