Costa Rica is a sanctuary of Pura Vida, where unrivaled biodiversity thrives amidst active volcanoes, mist-shrouded cloud forests, lush jungles, and the pristine shores of two oceans.
Our journey begins in San José before heading straight into the wild canals of Tortuguero, often called the Amazon of Costa Rica, where dense rainforest meets the Caribbean coast and wildlife rules the waterways.
Next, we travel to La Fortuna, dominated by the iconic Arenal Volcano. Here, we trek across ancient lava fields, relax in natural hot springs, and marvel at the magical, turquoise waters of the Rio Celeste waterfall hidden in the jungle.
Leaving the volcano behind, we climb into the cool canopy of Monteverde’s world-famous cloud forest, walking across hanging bridges high above the treetops.
We then descend to the Pacific coast to relax in Uvita and witness the natural whale-tail sandbar at Marino Ballena National Park.
For the ultimate wild adventure, we venture deep into Drake Bay on the Península de Osa, Costa Rica at its most pure and untamed.
We explore Corcovado National Park, renowned as one of the most biologically intense places on Earth, where primary rainforest plunges directly into the Pacific, before culminating our journey in the famous Manuel Antonio Park and returning to San José.

The best way to get to know a country is to do so accompanied by locals. That is the value proposition of The Tripidea and I am sure I made the best choice when I decided to travel with them to Colombia! We don't always think about traveling accompanied by a group of strangers. But the truth is that sharing experiences brought us closer together and I am sure we made friends for life on this trip. Our experience in Colombia was simply incredible! Alone, we might never have had the courage to go, but in a group everything became even more special. The atmosphere was always light and fun, with incredible people sharing this adventure with us.The landscapes left us breathless, and each place had something unique to offer — from the magical Cocora Valley to the vibrant cities, not to mention the paradisiacal beaches. Fantastic experience, where we had the opportunity to get to know places like Bogotá, Cali, Salento and Medellín in depth, which was only possible thanks to the work, commitment and familiarity with the places on the part of Alejandra and André.
It was an incredible experience that we dared to seek out because we felt accompanied by someone who knew the country's customs. I loved the trip to Colombia! I have a habit of travelling whenever I can, and I'm lucky enough to have been to the five continents, but I've never been to Colombia. From the moment I arrived in Bogotá where I had a VIP reception until the moment I caught the plane back, I always felt in the best company. Very organised trip full of surprises, everything thought out in detail so that we can experience Colombian culture to the fullest. We loved every day of the trip and the day in Valle de Cocora was unforgettable, from the jeep trip, to the horseback ride through the valley to the wonderful trout lunch. A country not to be missed
